Welcome to the 2024 Neurokinex Step Up Challenge - our annual fundraiser to safeguard the Neurokinex Step Up Scheme for children and adults who have recently had a spinal injury.

The power of THREE!

This year we’re setting Neurokinex clients the challenge to cover the equivalent distance between our three sites – a huge 500km! There are three ways to clock up the kms:
  1. Ski erg
  2. Arm/leg bike
  3. Push/walk/run
The Step Up Scheme provides a lifechanging set of six free rehab sessions to anyone with a new spinal cord injury. An absolute lifeline which enables people to access the world-class Neurokinex facilities and expertise, the Scheme relies totally on funding for its survival and we need to raise £25,000 to keep it open for another year.

How to take part / support

The Neurokinex community will travel as far as they can from Monday September 2nd to Friday September 6th. There will also be a three-day relay as follows:

  • Wednesday September 4th – Team Hemel Hempstead will get things off to a strong start
  • Thursday September 5th – Team Bristol will add as many metres as possible to the tally
  • Friday September 6th – Team Gatwick will push to hit the 500km goal before the Challenge ends.
