 Testimonials

Alfie’s Mum Esther

“When Alfie started at Neurokinex he was just getting up on his feet with support. Two and a half years on and it’s a vital part of his rehabilitation: I honestly don’t know where we would be if we hadn’t found Neurokinex and been referred to its Step Up Scheme. It’s made such a huge difference, particularly as Alfie was so young when his injury occurred. Prior to Neurokinex, Alfie was having hospital admissions for rehabilitation twice a year, but progress between admissions was much slower. Over those six weeks of sessions at Neurokinex it became very clear that we simply couldn’t do without their support.”

Oscar’s Mum Nikki

“When Oscar started, he could barely push his trike and now he’s taking on a 30K charity challenge. Over a year on and it’s a vital part of his rehabilitation. It’s made such a huge difference, and even though it takes us over an hour to get to the facility we simply couldn’t do without their services.”

Laura Bibby

“Finding the Neurokinex Step Up Scheme completely changed my life as the team understood my injury and could see past an MRI scan. Their medical specialists understand neurological rehabilitation and knew how to give me the skills to function, learn to adapt and walk again. The relief was extraordinary.”

Damian Riley

“I started with Neurokinex within three weeks of leaving hospital, as I wanted to maintain momentum on my rehab. The six sessions as part of the Step Up Scheme gave me a structured approach and helped me set goals for my progress. The programme is a really important bridge to help you get back into a community setting and helps you adjust from the highly structured hospital routine to life back at home.”
