New opening hours
As we enter another exciting summer season we are pleased to announce that we are extending our opening hours to Saturdays and weekday evenings to accommodate those clients that are unable to participate in our programmes during the working week.
We are now offering Saturday sessions from 10am-12pm, 12pm-2pm and 3pm-5 or 6pm. Late evening sessions will be available between 6pm-8pm Mon-Thurs. This will enable new clients to schedule more flexible trial programme dates and gives all clients more training options.
Contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 0300 7777188 to schedule your sessions.
In the news
We have had a lot of media coverage over the last few months including a visit from the elected Mayor of Watford, Dorothy Thornhill who helped us launch our new “partnered training” initiative with a local Multiple Sclerosis group. To read more about the Mayor’s click here
Our collaboration with the Peter Harrison Centre for Disability at Loughborough University has seen Toni Williams present an early insight of her ongoing metesynthesis study at the RehabMove Congress. We look forward to seeing more from Toni and PHC in the near future.
There has also been some exciting news coming from the University of Kentucky in the US whereby 4 spinally-injured men have seen some changes in voluntary function after undertaking an epidural stimulation programme. Although this technique is still being refined it provides us with a potential glimpse into an exciting future of possibilities within the fields of neuroscience and rehabilitation whilst reaffirming the importance of preservation and improvement of health for today.
We have made a few tweaks to the Centre following our April client survey. There are still some outstanding items to action, but overall the results of the survey, which all clients completed, are extremely encouraging.
As a community organisation, we are committed to continuously improving our client experience and for that we offer a big thank you to all our clients for taking part in the survey. Please continue to feedback to your trainer, or to email@example.com directly.
We will be welcoming two new members of staff in early July. Holly and Taylor will be joining us from Herts University for a year as part of their degree. These additional hands will help us to accommodate more gait training in sessions whilst also re-introducing our supervised free-weight sessions.
Loyalty Train & Reward Programme
Finally, we are excited to announce the launch of the neurokinex “loyalty train & reward” programme this month. Regular clients will receive a loyalty card and be given the opportunity to collect stamps in a variety of ways. Stamps can then be redeemed with free or discounted sessions and a variety of neurokinex-branded mechandise.
