Becki graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2006 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy and later completed a MSc. She is registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, an HCPC member in addition to being a member of ACPIN, MASCIP, APCP and POGP. She has trained at the prestigious Frazier Rehabilitation Institute, USA on their paediatric programme.
Becki is a highly qualified complex care and movement difficulty specialist, physiotherapeutic clinical lead and team manager. With clinical experience and expertise across paediatrics and adult services. She employs a diverse range of therapeutic practices which focus on whole body rehabilitation from multiple pathological causes. Clinically, she is interested in how integrative functional nutrition and precision care improves lives for people living with complex health conditions. She is passionate about empowering individuals and their families to seek and obtain all that they require/desire/deserve in their health journey and shaping better health outcomes both in practice and via research.
Becki has specialised in neurology where she has worked in acute NHS hospitals, NHS and private out-patient clinics and specialist NHS regional rehabilitation units. She has worked with stable neurological conditions, progressive neurological conditions, acquired neurological conditions, spinal cord injuries (traumatic and non-traumatic), brain injuries from birth or acquired and has experience in pre and post neurological surgery, genetic disorders across all age spectrums. Her area of clinical interest is complex paediatric care.
In her therapeutic toolbox Becki has furthered specialised in clinical and integrative functional nutrition. She provides patient-centred, evidenced informed nutritional care that intelligently combines integrative functional nutrition, lifestyle interventions and movement therapies alongside conventional care to better support individuals’ quality of life, improve resilience, health optimisation and improved training outcomes for those living with chronic conditions.
Becki is a mum of three who has had a lifelong passion for horses. She continues to enjoy horse riding, working on her own personal fitness journey with resistance training, yoga and holistic practices.
