Joshua Lydon
Neurorehabilitation Trainer

Josh is a UKSCA accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach with a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science. Before joining Neurokinex in 2016, Josh supported the physical development of athletes training within universities and academies, professional sports clubs, and intensive Olympic centres. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams he has prepared athletes for various national leagues and international competitions including the English Premier League and Olympic Games.

As a leading member of our training team, Josh now applies his expertise amongst those living with differing levels of paralysis imposed by a range of neurological conditions whilst supporting the advancement of our services. Equipped with a decade of experience, he enjoys creatively overcoming barriers inhibiting such a population from reaching specific exercise intensities required to maintain health and fulfil recovery potential. He also has a particular interest in novel approaches for maximising the recovery of those with spinal cord injury, such as acute intermittent hypoxia.
